The Orthodox view one as a member if their mother were Jewish or if they go through Orthodox conversion/adoption. Jews are an ethnoreligious tribal people but it is possible to convert and be “absorbed’ into the Jewish people.I don’t view Jews as properly a “race”. They are a tribe with a common ethnic religion. Tribes share ancestry and genetics. People can join tribes. People can’t join “races” (though a White can act like a ngger I guess).
